Words have always been her quiet companions. As she grew older, she began to translate her thoughts into writing, shaped by her experiences, emotions, and her unique way of observing the world. Over time, what began as a simple inclination gradually evolved into an integral part of her identity.
Yogita has always nurtured a strong desire to explore the world. She has traveled across countries, embracing experiences that pushed her beyond her comfort zone, including adventures like skydiving. For her, every journey has been more than just visiting new places, it has been a way of discovering herself. The Runner & Traveler
Yogita Warde is someone who has spent most of her life balancing many versions of herself at once, the writer, the traveler, the runner, the overthinker, the emotionally observant person who notices things most people move past too quickly.
Writing happened naturally to her, not as a perfectly planned career, but as a way of making sense of life. Over the years, she realized that some of her best thoughts came while running long distances, sitting quietly in the mountains, traveling to unfamiliar places, or simply trying to process everyday emotions that are hard to explain to people.
Alongside being an author, Yogita is also an international marathon runner and trekker. She has completed multiple international marathons and taken on challenging journeys like the Ladakh to Everest Base Camp trek, experiences that tested her physically, mentally, and emotionally in ways that eventually found their way into her writing too.
But if you ask her, the stories were never really about the medals, destinations, or achievements. They were about the people she met, the moments that changed her unexpectedly, the loneliness that teaches you things, the discipline of showing up for yourself, and the strange clarity that sometimes arrives when you are exhausted, lost, or far away from home.
Her writing reflects that same honesty. She writes about emotions people often struggle to put into words, relationships, self-doubt, healing, quiet strength, growing older, starting over, and the thoughts we usually keep to ourselves. There is simplicity in her work, but also emotional depth that comes from lived experience rather than performance.
Today, through her books and online presence, Yogita continues to build a space that feels personal, comforting, and real, where readers do not feel like they are being spoken to by an “author,” but by someone who understands what it feels like to be human.
